内政部长在演讲中确认，未来签发的访客签证将普遍附加8503（不得境内续签）条款。我们此前专门写过一篇文章讲过8503的具体机制——这次的变化，本质上是把此前”部分附加、签证官自由裁量”的做法，升级成了”全面标配”。 The Home Affairs Minister confirmed in his address that future visitor visas will generally carry condition 8503 (No Further Stay). We’ve previously written a dedicated article explaining how 8503 works — this change essentially upgrades what was previously “sometimes applied, at the case officer’s discretion” into a universal standard.
🛤️ 被堵住的具体是哪条路 🛤️ What pathway is actually being closed
长期以来，不少海外伴侣会先申请访客签证以旅游身份入境澳洲，之后再在境内申请820配偶签证，从而获得过桥签证，可以在等待配偶签证审理结果的过程中合法留在澳洲、工作、使用Medicare。这次新规实施后，未来持有新签发访客签证的人，原则上不能再走这条路。 For a long time, many overseas partners would first obtain a visitor visa to enter Australia as a tourist, then apply for an onshore 820 partner visa — gaining a bridging visa that let them lawfully remain, work, and access Medicare while their application was processed. Under the new rule, people holding a newly-granted visitor visa generally won’t be able to take this path.

如果伴侣此前是通过访客签证入境、计划境内转配偶签证，这条路以后基本走不通了，境外309（配偶临居）/100（配偶永居）申请，会成为更主要的申请路径。 If your partner was planning to enter on a visitor visa and later transition to an onshore partner visa, that route is largely closing. The offshore 309 (Partner Temporary)/100 (Partner Permanent) pathway becomes the more relevant route going forward.

📈 技术移民打分表调整 📈 Points test adjustments for skilled migration
针对189、190、491技术移民签证的打分表，技工类资质（trade qualifications）将获得跟大学学历同等的加分权重，具体分值目前还没有公布。 For the 189, 190, and 491 skilled visas, trade qualifications will receive the same points weighting as university qualifications — the exact figures haven’t been published yet.
